Paige Utility's Bare Aluminum Cables are lightweight and corrosion resistant. Stranded bare all-aluminum 1350 conductors (AAC) are used in overhead line installations where design parameters do not require the higher stregth or temperature ratings provided by ACSR, ACSS or other type of conductors.

ALL ALUMINUM CONDUCTOR, Concentric Lay, Aluminum 1350 Wire - suitable for use in spans on wood poles,transmission towers, and other structures where high tensile strength or temperature is not required. ACSR combines the lighter weight advantage of 1350 alloy aluminum with the high tensile strength and toughness of steel. The combined light weight and high conductivity of aluminum with strength of the steel core enables higher tensions, less sag, and longer spans than any alternative.


6201 Alloy Bare Aluminum - This wire is suitable for use in spans on wood poles, transmission towers, and other structures. Applications range from extra high voltage (EHV) transmission lines to sub-service spans at distribution or utilization voltages on private premises. 6201 alloy is a high stretgh material frequently used for overhead line installationnear slat water where the steel conductor in ACSR cables are subject to corrosion.
