We’re Environmentally Conscious
As the saying goes, “We’re all in this together.” Paige Electric is committed to being good stewards of our precious planet and its limited resources both in our products and our practices. The new Paige 1Pac cartons have brought recyclable wire and cable packaging to products that everyone assumed could never be packaged that way. Since their introduction just three years ago, we estimate we have prevented more then 10,000 trees from being converted into plywood reels and then ending up in a landfill. Paige is also constantly striving to reduce its energy consumption. Our corporate headquarters has over 800 solar panels on the roof offsetting over 59% of our energy needs. Add to that newly installed low-energy fluorescent lighting and motion sensing light switches and we now consume 75% less energy than we did just 3 years ago. And it doesn’t stop there. Video conferencing to cut down on excessive travel, thermal curtains for heating and cooling, Energy Star™ monitors and paperless processes are among the many initiatives that make Paige a leader in environmental responsibility.
CONFLICT MINERALS PROGRAM
Paige Electric LP is committed to comply with all laws and regulations applicable to our business, including Conflict Mineral laws and regulations regarding the sourcing of tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold from certain mines within the conflict regions of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and bordering countries, as required by section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Our policy is:
1. To determine which, if any of the Paige Electric products contain the subject metals, and whether these metals, if present are necessary for the functionality of the product(s).
2. To maintain a reasonable due diligence standard throughout our global supply chain.
3. To communicate our policy with our global supply chain partners, regarding the requirements of the Conflict Material rules.
We share the concerns regarding Conflict Material and are dedicated to work with our global supply chain to ensure compliance with the law.
